It all started in 2014 when founder Marcus Hendricks returned from a culinary trip through Naples, Italy carrying nothing but a notebook full of recipes, a head full of inspiration, and an unwavering mission: to bring authentic round table pizza to Minneapolis. The kind of pizza where the table itself becomes the stage — a shared round surface where families, friends, and strangers could break bread together.

Starting with just a small kitchen on W Broadway, the team hand-crafted every dough ball, sourced local ingredients from Minneapolis farmers markets, and built a reputation slice by slice. Today, Round Table Pizza has grown into a beloved community fixture — but our roots and our recipe remain unchanged.

Marcus Hendricks opens Round Table Pizza in a 900 sq ft space on W Broadway, Minneapolis with 4 employees and one stone oven imported from Naples, Italy.
Community Recognition
Named "Best Pizza in North Minneapolis" by the Minneapolis Star Tribune. Our round table concept and commitment to fresh, local ingredients earns us a loyal neighborhood following.
Kitchen Expansion
Growing demand drives a full kitchen renovation. We triple our seating capacity, add a dedicated delivery fleet, and launch our online ordering platform.
Adapting & Serving
Amid global challenges, we pivot to contactless delivery and curbside pickup — and donate over 2,000 pizzas to Minneapolis healthcare workers and food banks.
Catering Launch
We introduce our full-service catering program, bringing the round table experience to corporate events, weddings, and community gatherings across the Twin Cities metro area.
Today & Beyond
